Water monitoring and top-off water for pool and spa businesses
You test pool water every visit. A WQM-1 reads it every minute in between, and the readings show in BlueSignal Cloud for you and the owner. A rain tank can top off the pool between visits.

What you already have
- Water chemistry every week on every account.
- An equipment pad with power, plumbing and a pump already there.
- Owners who notice when the water turns.
Where BlueSignal fits
- Water quality monitoring: the BlueSignal WQM-1 reads pH, TDS, turbidity and temperature every minute and shows them in BlueSignal Cloud. It goes on wells, cisterns, pools, ponds and tanks.
- Rainwater harvesting: gutters, first flush, a tank, a pump and filters, sized from local rainfall with the free tank calculator and the Rain Planner, which also lists the local rebates.
- A monitored account is a reason to visit: a reading that drifts between service days is a call you can make before the owner does.
Licenses for this work
- A tie-in to a building’s plumbing or to the house water supply is work for a licensed plumber, with the backflow protection it needs.
- A new circuit at the pad is electrical work for a licensed electrician.
- Check what your city requires for pool equipment work.

Questions
What does the WQM-1 read in a pool?
pH, TDS, turbidity and temperature, every minute. ORP is an optional probe. It does not replace your weekly test; it shows what happens between visits.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. The course, the listing and the proposal tool are free. You buy BlueSignal equipment at installer pricing when you sell a job.
Who does the homeowner contract with?
With you. You quote, sign and invoice the job under your own business and license. BlueSignal sells the equipment and runs the cloud the monitor reports to.
How long does the training take?
Eleven short videos, the written lessons, and one unit commissioned live for BlueSignal, on site or on a video call.
