Water systems for solar installers
You already sell the homeowner independence on the power side. Water is the other half: storage, a generator that makes water from air, and a monitor that shows what is in it. BlueSignal trains you on the water side.

What you already have
- Customers who chose to depend less on a utility.
- Licensed electrical work, load calculations and roof access.
- A sales process built around a site visit and a proposal.
Where BlueSignal fits
- Water from air: the BlueSignal 5 and 21 generators plug into an existing outlet. The larger units are quoted per site and need licensed electrical and plumbing work.
- Rainwater harvesting: gutters, first flush, a tank, a pump and filters, sized from local rainfall with the free tank calculator and the Rain Planner, which also lists the local rebates.
- Water quality monitoring: the BlueSignal WQM-1 reads pH, TDS, turbidity and temperature every minute and shows them in BlueSignal Cloud. It goes on wells, cisterns, pools, ponds and tanks.
Licenses for this work
- New circuits and hardwired generators are electrical work for a licensed electrician.
- A tie-in to a building’s plumbing is work for a licensed plumber.
- Irrigation fed from a tank is TCEQ Landscape Irrigator work.

Questions
Does a water-from-air unit need its own circuit?
The BlueSignal 5 and 21 plug into an existing outlet; check that the outlet’s circuit carries little else. A new circuit or a hardwired unit is licensed electrical work, and the larger units are quoted per site.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. The course, the listing and the proposal tool are free. You buy BlueSignal equipment at installer pricing when you sell a job.
Who does the homeowner contract with?
With you. You quote, sign and invoice the job under your own business and license. BlueSignal sells the equipment and runs the cloud the monitor reports to.
How long does the training take?
Eleven short videos, the written lessons, and one unit commissioned live for BlueSignal, on site or on a video call.
