Why it matters

What goes wrong outside.

Outdoor failures are quiet. Nothing alarms and nothing trips — the problem just runs until somebody happens to notice it. Monitoring is what turns that into something you find out about the same day.

A well runs low

UnmonitoredWater level drops through a dry summer and the pump starts pulling air. You find out when the taps sputter — or when the pump has already burned out.

With BlueSignalLevel and pump run-state are logged continuously, and an alert goes out when either crosses the threshold you set.

A freeze splits a line

UnmonitoredCentral Texas freezes are short and severe. An unprotected outdoor line cracks overnight and runs until somebody notices it.

With BlueSignalOutdoor temperature is tracked against your threshold, so the warning arrives before the freeze rather than with the water bill after it.

An irrigation zone sticks on

UnmonitoredA valve fails open and a zone waters for days. Nothing looks wrong from the driveway, and the first real signal is the bill.

With BlueSignalZone run-times are tracked against their schedule, and anything running longer than it should raises an alert you can act on remotely.

A pond or tank drifts

UnmonitoredpH, oxygen, or turbidity move slowly out of range. By the time the water looks wrong, the problem is well established.

With BlueSignalSix channels sample continuously against limits you set, so a slow drift shows up as a trend long before it shows up in the water.

What We Install

Six systems, one platform.

Installed to be monitored from day one. Every system reports to the same dashboard with the same alerting — whether it is a well probe or a lighting circuit.

Water Monitoring

Continuous monitoring for wells, ponds, tanks, rainwater systems, treatment systems, and atmospheric water generators.

  • pH
  • TDS
  • Turbidity
  • ORP
  • Temp
  • Level

Smart Irrigation

Smart irrigation controllers with cloud management, zone scheduling, and alerts when a zone runs longer than it should.

  • Zone control
  • Scheduling
  • Remote override

Landscape Lighting

Professionally installed low-voltage LED lighting on scheduled, automated circuits — paths, steps, trees, and entries.

  • Low-voltage
  • Dusk-to-dawn
  • Zoned

Outdoor Wi-Fi

Extend reliable connectivity past the walls — for cameras, controllers, sensors, and monitoring equipment.

  • Weatherized APs
  • Outdoor cabling
  • Coverage plan

Environmental Sensors

Weather, soil moisture, temperature, and environmental monitoring, logged continuously and alerted on.

  • Soil moisture
  • Air temp
  • Rainfall

Automation

Pump control, relays, valves, and threshold alerts — driven by your own readings, not a generic schedule.

  • Relays
  • Valves
  • Pump control
Monitoring

It tells you before you notice.

You set the thresholds. The system watches them continuously and sends an alert the moment one is crossed — by SMS, email, or push. Where automation is installed, it can act first and tell you second.

100% credited toward installation

Start with a Site Survey.

Ninety-nine dollars, credited in full against whatever you install. It exists so the proposal you receive is a fixed price based on your property — not a guess based on a phone call.

During the visit
  1. Evaluate the property
  2. Review power availability
  3. Review Wi-Fi and LoRa coverage
  4. Identify installation locations
  5. Discuss monitoring goals
  6. Recommend equipment
  7. Produce a fixed-price proposal

Central Texas

Built for the conditions here.

Wells, watering restrictions, hard freezes, and rainwater collection are the normal case in this region — not edge cases. Equipment and thresholds are set up accordingly.

Hill Country wells

Private wells are the norm outside city water. Level and pump health are the two things worth watching.

Watering restrictions

Schedules shift by season and by municipality. Zone control makes complying a setting rather than a chore.

Short, hard freezes

One night below freezing is enough to split an outdoor line. Temperature thresholds give you warning.

Rainwater collection

Common across the region. Tank level and water quality are both worth logging continuously.

Why BlueSignal

Not another contractor.

Traditional contractors install equipment. BlueSignal installs intelligent outdoor infrastructure designed to be monitored, connected, and automated from day one.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

How does the $99 Site Survey work?

A technician visits the property, evaluates power, Wi-Fi and LoRa coverage, and installation locations, then discusses what you want to monitor. You receive a fixed-price proposal — no hourly billing, no open-ended estimate. The $99 is credited in full toward your installation.

Do you mow lawns or do landscaping?

No. We install and maintain the systems that run outside — water monitoring, irrigation control, lighting, networking, sensors, and automation. We work alongside your landscaper or builder rather than replacing them.

Do I need Wi-Fi?

No. Devices can report over LoRaWAN to a gateway, or over LTE where there is no usable network at all. Wi-Fi is one option of several, and the site survey determines which backhaul fits the property.

Can you monitor my well?

Yes. Well water monitoring is one of the most common installations — water level, temperature, conductivity, pH, and pump run-state, with alerts when a reading moves outside the range you set.

Can you install on existing irrigation?

Usually, yes. Most conventional irrigation systems can be retrofitted with a smart controller without replacing valves or lines. The survey confirms compatibility before anything is quoted.

Can you install landscape lighting?

Yes. We install low-voltage LED landscape lighting on scheduled, automated circuits, commissioned alongside the rest of the outdoor system rather than as a separate one-off job.

Do you service commercial properties?

Yes — municipal, HOA, developer, ranch, park, stormwater, aquaculture, industrial, and atmospheric water generation sites. Commercial deployments start at $7,500 and are scoped per site.

What areas do you serve?

Central Texas, with commercial and multi-site work considered more broadly. If you are outside the area, tell us the location and we will say plainly whether we can cover it.

What happens after installation?

The system is commissioned on site, calibrated, and verified reporting before we leave. From there you monitor it from the cloud dashboard and mobile alerts. Our workmanship is warranted for one year, and the platform expands as you add devices or sites.

Who owns the data?

You do. The firmware is open and the readings are yours — exportable, and not locked behind a proprietary format.
