Rainwater-fed irrigation for licensed irrigators

A rainwater tank is a water source for the system you already design. You size the zones, set the controller and keep the backflow right. BlueSignal trains you on the tank side and on monitoring the water.

What you already have

  • A TCEQ Landscape Irrigator license, which Texas requires to sell, design, install or service an irrigation system, including one fed by a tank.
  • Controllers, valves, drip and the rain sensor loop on every install.
  • Customers who watch their water bill every summer.

Where BlueSignal fits

  • Rainwater harvesting: gutters, first flush, a tank, a pump and filters, sized from local rainfall with the free tank calculator and the Rain Planner, which also lists the local rebates.
  • Water quality monitoring: the BlueSignal WQM-1 reads pH, TDS, turbidity and temperature every minute and shows them in BlueSignal Cloud. It goes on wells, cisterns, pools, ponds and tanks.
  • Four relay outputs switch site equipment, such as water generators, through installer-supplied gear. On an irrigation job, that gear is part of the irrigation system you design and license.

Questions

Can rainwater feed an existing irrigation system?

Yes, through a pump and filter from the tank, with the backflow protection the system needs. Sizing starts with the roof area and local rainfall; the free tank calculator does that math.

What does it cost to join?

Nothing. The course, the listing and the proposal tool are free. You buy BlueSignal equipment at installer pricing when you sell a job.

Who does the homeowner contract with?

With you. You quote, sign and invoice the job under your own business and license. BlueSignal sells the equipment and runs the cloud the monitor reports to.

How long does the training take?

Eleven short videos, the written lessons, and one unit commissioned live for BlueSignal, on site or on a video call.
